Skymec Paramotors has personally tested all of these engines right here in Australia! The engines are rigorously tested for 100+ hours, working with manufacturers to ensure they're running 100% before selling to pilots.


Not only do we offer you a variety of engines to suit any pilots needs, but incredible warranty's with full parts back up. All parts and spares are in stock in our workshop!


The team at Skymec are proud of the engines we distribute and back them 100%. We will always stock parts for these engines and get parts to you quickly should you ever need them. We won't leave you hanging for weeks on end! When you're researching engines, don't just look at the specs, be sure to ask the distributor if they have warranty's and full parts back up here in Australia, it's also important that the distributers have an extensive knowledge of two stroke engines.

Thor 130 Evo

Polini makes the best even better. A never ending research of perfection and performance.

The trading and competition success achieved by Polini Thor engines, has driven Polini towards a restyling of THOR 130.
The new Thor 130 features a very compact design. The exhaust system is divided into 2 shells. The exhaust manifold is with spherical coupling and it is fixed on rubber suspensions that grant an incredible duration. The springs supplied with steel hooks make them strong and offer the possibility to fasten them for higher safety level. The crankcase has been revisited to be more compact and uniform.
The new Polini THOR 130 EVO is an advanced engine that can adopt two different fuel systems: Ø 24 bowl carburetor or Walbro WG8 carburetor. The engine has been developed and produced with handmade criteria through the most modern and advanced productive systems, constantly followed up by specialized technicians with great experience, professionality and creativity.

The cylinder unit is cast in light alloy and the liner has a nickel-chrome coating for the best piston sliding. The piston is gravity die-cast in light alloy at high silicon content with 2 chromed and nitride steel rings.
The exhaust system is completely hand made for a better product quality. Compact design and contained dimensions. Reduced overall dimensions for a better aerodynamic. Low noise level.
The forced air cooling system grants a better air cooling, optimizing the performance and maintaining even temperature.
THOR 130 EVO engine is provided with the new Polini “Flash Starter”, really easy and fast to start.
Great power, low fuel consumption, performance optimization at every rpm.
Polini THOR 130 EVO engine features many other technical solutions and safety characteristics. System with closed circuit for the fuel collection during its transportation. Prearrangement for 12V exit for future electric devices. Very low propeller overturning torque granted by the counterturning masses.
